Amazon founder and executive chairman Jeff Bezos said instead of raising taxes on billionaires, there should be a change to the tax code allowing the bottom half of earners to not pay income tax.

“I think he is a more mature, more disciplined version of himself than he was in his first term,” Bezos told CNBC on Wednesday.

"It's kind of a tale of two economies," Bezos told Sorkin at the start of the interview when asked about growing criticism toward billionaires.
